Pulled to both sides of the gel

In science, we are always testing new questions and applying new results. These traits carry over into the classroom. Students have opinions on how a course should be improved and instructors have thoughts on what particular things a student is or isn’t doing to achieve positive outcomes. As an adjunct instructor and a returning student in the same institution, I’m in a unique position. I can constantly apply my hypotheses on how courses should be improved to my own classroom and learn from the results of my instructors when improving my lesson plans or my study habits. I hope to always be able to approach my classroom with the philosophy that education is a science and can be improved with new variables and new results.
